PMPC Center of Excellence Project Kick-off meeting
On March 17-18 the PMPC Center of Excellence Project Kick-off meeting took place at Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht, where partners gathered to discuss in depth the project's objectives, key tasks, and the expected outcomes of each work package. The two-day session featured in-depth discussions on project goals, deliverables, and structure, breakout sessions for each work package, a Supervisory Board meeting and a working session with the EU Project Officer María Isabel Farfan Camacho.
During the Kick-off Meeting PMPC team had the valuable opportunity to explore some of the world-class research and clinical infrastructure at Princess Máxima Center. Visit included The Laboratory for Childhood Cancer Pathology, Princess Máxima Center Biobank, a vital resource supporting pediatric oncology research, Advanced Research Facilities, home to technologies like the Nanopore sequencing platform and Illumina systems and the Cell and Gene Therapy Unit, including state-of-the-art Cleanrooms for CAR-T cell manufacturing.
These experiences further inspire our mission at PMPC Center of Excellence to drive innovation in precision medicine for children through collaboration, research, and shared knowledge.
