PMPC establishes Patient and Parent Council
On 26 August, the very first meeting of the PMPC Patient and Parent Council (PPC) took place – a milestone that brings the voices of patients and parents into the very heart of precision medicine development in Latvia.
On 26 August, the very first meeting of the PMPC Patient and Parent Council (PPC) took place – a milestone that brings the voices of patients and parents into the very heart of precision medicine development in Latvia.
We are proud to introduce the first members of the PMPC Patient and Parent Council:
- Evita Kreitus – nominated by “Blastiņš”, elected Coordinator of the PPC
- Jūlija Namavire – nominated by “MMunT”, elected Deputy Coordinator of the PPC
- Guna Sietiņa – nominated by association “Blastiņš”
- Sanita Siņica – nominated by the Latvian Alliance of Rare Diseases
- Baiba Reuta-Zikmane – nominated by Oncology Ward (Ward 10) of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital
Each of these members brings unique experience, deep knowledge and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children and families. Together, they will serve as trusted partners for PMPC, ensuring that the patient and parent perspective is embedded in every step of the project.
Their work will help shape not only PMPC, but also the future of precision medicine and patient support in Latvia.
